“At Neighborhood Resources, Inc.,” our vision is to create a thriving and interconnected community that embodies unity, support, and progress. We are dedicated to fostering positive change and empowerment in Old North Dayton. Through collaboration with local churches, law enforcement, and a network of interested parties, we aim to transform our neighborhood into a place where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
Our core values are rooted in transparency, inclusivity, and innovation. We seek to build bridges within the community by leveraging the resources at our disposal. With a strong focus on funding and partnerships, including grants, United Way support, and special projects, we will enable sustainable growth and development.
Our multifaceted approach encompasses arts and professions, with a special emphasis on providing a space that attracts artists and professionals, offering office and community spaces. We are committed to revitalizing Dayton’s shuttered and abandoned buildings, re-purposing them for the betterment of the community.
Through our comprehensive calendar of services, offered yearly, monthly, and even weekly, we aim to address the diverse needs of our population. Our objectives span from enhancing transportation options, including eScooters, Segways, eBikes, and more, to providing food delivery and establishing charitable food distribution centers in partnership with organizations like the Food Bank.
Our vision extends to floral enhancement projects, recovery programs, skill development in areas such as computer literacy, carpentry, and janitorial skills, as well as neighborhood watch initiatives that foster safety and collaboration with law enforcement.
We are also dedicated to promoting health and wellness through our Health Incubator, offering exercise rooms, VR experiences, and fostering healthy competition among residents.
At Neighborhood Resources, Inc., our vision is to create a vibrant, inclusive, and resilient community that serves as a model for positive change. Together, we can transform Old North Dayton into a place where everyone can thrive and prosper.”
