We have been using the Community Room at 303B Troy Street as a gathering place for our regular events. It is the largest area in the building to conduct social gatherings.
These events include –
- Resident shared meals – residents prepare and share meals like a family
- Movie night – a projector and DVD’s that have been donated are used to project movies on our big screen.
- Food bank resources – i.e. – trade your beans for vegetables – many residents obtain food resources from some of the local food banks. The produce from the food banks can vary widely. As a result, the residents of the Troy Street Apartments trade various canned goods for fresh produce and vice versa.
